Tonbridge Racecourse Sportsground

Lunch time walk showed the Tonbridge Racecourse sportsground  was suffering the effects of Storm Katie and much rain.   Horse racing moved here after it was stopped on Tunbridge Wells Common in 1851. See this old blip of mine.  The last race in Tonbridge was 11 Sept 1874.  Now there are lots of football pitches and open spaces for walkers and children
