Morning Glory

I was determined to try to capture the glorious blue of a morning glory this morning for Flower Friday. Even though it was threatening to rain, I drove to the marina then walked back along the track to where I knew was a very large, out of control patch of these flowers.

I hadn't factored in the dull light and the breeze that had got up bringing the rain, all making the task rather difficult. I rattled off a series of photographs then as the rain started in earnest, scuttled back to the car.

I am making myself choose only one - it is too easy to avoid choice by filling up the extras. Sometimes I wonder if they did us a favour or not when they provided extras for us.
