MV Hrossey

The Hrossey glides in alongside Hatston pier just after midnight.  I picked up Zibby and his massive case full of butteries.  He starts a new job in Kirkwall on Monday and moves into his new house in May.  Ziberoonie will join him once the hoose is sold in Aberdeen.  The Ziblettes are both completing their academic years and will both be in Glasgow after August.  So it’s a career change for Zibby who kissed the tarmac on arrival.  He has wanted to stay in Orkney for the last 30 years and his dream is coming true. 

CMC is doing her bit by putting on a pot roast for today which, meantime, is dreich.

Baz asked me to tell his followers that he is fine and that he has forsaken the airing cupboard (winter quarters) for the Orkney chair in the kitchen.
