"La Vista"

This is a picture taken from the terrace of our school library. During the recess, I went here, put in my headphones and listened to music, enjoying the view. I thought about how lucky I was to be in this school, because going to this school always seemed as a dream to me, but now, I was here. This picture means a lot to me, because it reminds me of my success. However, even in this picture, signs of urbanization is seen. In the top right corner, it is seen that a mosque is being constructed. Thanks to our lovely government, now we have a mosque in every street of the city, and trees are being cut down to build them.

I am not against religion or anything, but do we really need this many mosques? The thing about mosques is, another one has to be built if the azan isn't heard from a certain location. But, I certainly do not believe that this is the case in Istanbul... Why? Because I hear three azans at the same time every time one is read. I will probably take a picture of it later, but in my neighborhood, two mosques really close to each other can be captured in a single photo. Also, I know that there is another one one kilometer away from them. This problem is not just with mosques, but buildings in general. They don't seem aesthetically nice, and usually nature is ruptured while building them, and no one seems to be doing anything about it.
