Summer harbinger
Unlike a lot of the UK, Pied Wagtails disappear here for the winter. They've been back for a few weeks now and this particular specimen was enjoying the harvest of flies on the beach at Baleshare - certainly more than I was. Always dapper, this one seemed to colour coordinate with its surroundings.
A day to eat breakfast outside and to wear a tee-shirt all day. Long may it continue.
