Chaffinch

A lovely afternoon so Mike carried on making the supports for the decking area. David was busy creating works of art for his degree while I hovered and dusted.
I did go outside and drank tea and photographed the birds. A lot going on as the birds were busy at the feeders, chaffinches were collecting horse hair from the field. A brightly coloured male red poll landed on my stick , very briefly but I did manage a quick snap. Three buzzards flew over head and I could see them displaying in the distance, one flying up side down.
I also watched gannets diving off the point through the telescope. Amazing birds.
Now raining again.
