The Blue Lagoon

We went into Reykjavik and had a very tasty fish with crispy potatoes and mango salad  in the Icelandic fish and chip shop. The snow had started to come down as we ate and as we walked round Reykjavik later it continued to snow but it did look pretty but not so easy to take photos.



When we got back to the place we were staying the sun came out just before setting and I went for a walk along the road with views over snow covered fields to the mountains beyond.

Just before midnight we watched the Northern Lights develop shimmering across the sky. More to follow :)
