Mono Monday: A New Beginning

No real progress for Mum with her weakened legs today - it's heartbreaking how short a distance she can manage to walk at the moment.  Paradoxically, she's really enjoying her meals lately and it's been a long time since she's had such a good appetite for food.  We chose a garden centre whose café wasn't too far from the car park this afternoon, and Mum sat there while I had a browse around and took photos of some of the plants before indulging in our Monday hot chocolate treat.  This little orange tree looked gorgeous with its fruit at different stages of growth, and there was even a pretty blossom still in flower on its branches - the beginning of a new orange.

Not sure it really works that well in mono, so I've added the colour version in extras to show the different shades of oranges on the tree.
