........Look what you could have won...........

A positive day...........that started with a negative......was due at the docs this morning for a repeat liver function blood test............nothing to worry about. Got up early........parking is difficult near the docs.............in the town centre.........just as I was about to set off the phone rang..........appointment cancelled..........the Practice Nurse had phoned in sick.

Adopted a positive attitude and had a leisurely breakfast.........and then went off to see the boys............a coffee........some banter...a few laughs........and then home.

A restful afternoon..........lunch.......spot of on-line shopping......watched half a film.....put a load in the washing machine........had a stroll round the garden.

Tonight was the Quiz League Presentation........we picked up the League Runner-up trophy.......and the plate which we get to keep..........we also won the fun quiz beating all the other teams in the League.......£20 for the team coffers........Ann won a bottle of Rioja in the raffle......and Jayne won a mystery prize..........which turned out to be a hot water bottle and a bottle of organic beetroot juice?!

Pie and pea supper and a couple of beers.

All in all a good night.......and another good day for me in the company of some of my wonderful, kind, supportive friends.
