.....little boxes, little boxes......

Didn't get to bed until 1.00 last night..........only woke up twice during the night...unfortunately first time was at 3.45.....and I couldn't settle again until around 4.00.......and the second time was at 5.05!............and that was it.......wide awake.

A foggy morning..........but the Sun soon burnt it off.........two deliveries came this morning........my new shoes for the wedding...........and these coaches boxes for when we start again at the end of the month.

Phoned YH..........and we went for lunch........to the Rose & Crown........and took the Quiz League runner up trophy with us to put on display. I suppose that after the wedding Young Helen will need a new call sign, she'll be the only Helen G. in the family.......maybe she should be the DiL.

Came home........phoned the cat's insurance company as they had only sent me one set of policy documents...for Loki..........problem sorted in two minutes and Keo's documents arrived.....why is everything done by email in insurance circles these days?.........and you have to print off your own documents?

Phoned Fisherman's Way...the tackle shop...spoke to Ryan and ordered hooks, shot, disgorgers, plummets, line, hook tying tools, floats and scissors for the coaches boxes........so that's the donation we received for the kids all spent. Tomorrow I'll take it all to the cabin, distribute it and then we'll be ready for the new season.

Had a sit in the Sun....the Daughter came home............settled down to watch the FA Cup replay........and then the door bell rang...it was Shaun..........just coming to see how I was. We had a chat......and a brew......and then he shot off home.......and I watched the second half of the match...United won 1-2...now for Everton in the semi-Final.

So lots more reasons to smile and laugh today...........as the man who fell out of the skyscraper said as he hurtled downwards.......So far, so good.
