Feeding Time

Although the BoBB 2016 blipmeet officially ended last night, WRPerry and I extended our stay by one day and spent about 5 hours at the rookery in the Gator Farm in St. Augustine.  After going through two SD cards and 3 batteries, I will have hundreds of photos to go through when I get home, but when I reviewed some of my shots in the camera, I knew this one of a Roseate Spoonbill feeding her chicks would be my blip for today.  It was so gorgeous to watch. Be sure to check out the extra for some more youngsters. 

Now it’s time to give the arms and shoulders a rest.  Carrying around the heavy lens for 3 days has taken its toll.
