Horne Terrace

As immortalised in comic history by Kenneth Williams. Not many people know that Round the Horne was written after a visit to Sid James' Edinburgh pied a terre which as in Horne Terrace. Legend has it they came back from a few jars at the  Fountain and in jovial mood the banter started and so the show was born.
