House Crow(Corvus splendens)
This House Crow is very curious as to what I am doing, as you can see by his look, I am actually for a change, not on a trip out to photograph birds, but on a mission to capture some detailed shots of the second Cunard liner to visit Muscat and berth in Mutrah harbour. The ship in today is their flaship of the fleet the Queen Mary 2 (see extra photos) Yesterday I was lucky enough to witness the Queen Elizabeth 2 leaving the harbour without the aid of a tug and most impressive it was too! To give you an idea of scale the crew of the QM2 is over 1,200 people! They are both huge ships and lovely to see the QE2 at the time of the Queen's birthday, although I have to say the ship is no beauty! They are sadly both not elegant ships anymore but luxury floating tower block floating hotels-although very impressive ones!
The poor Crow was still very confused as to why I was half way up the stairs to the fort.....
