Diary of an Edinburgher

Fetch!

Busy morning with school (JR), blood test (moi), haircut (Joanne) sitting in the sun on Murray's lap (Archie). Then Archie's new friend Anne came to take him out. What excitement!

The Kiwis and I then hopped on a bus (very exciting for them) and went into town to sort out their phone and have a wander. The city looks at its best in the sunshine, though another week or so when the blossom is out in the gardens it will be even better. I took them to My Club - haven't been for ages. They were very impressed and asked how much the membership was every month. They were even more impressed when they heard it was free! (Well, almost)...

Anne brought Archie back in the afternoon, and it seems to have gone well. Apart from his barking at other dogs because he was on the lead. But she didn't seem to be put off too much.

Archie and I had a play with his (very chewed) ball in the back garden while the others relaxed. He brought it back loads of times - perhaps he's got the idea of the game now.

Roast chicken with all the trimmings for tea, and a very nice Cloudy Bay to accompany it. Then we watched our favourite Line of Duty - Murray is very keen on it too, and not just because he's an ex-policeman. Jings! The drama!! Can't wait for next week's finale.

Archie has got very used to the visitors, and has even been jumping up to visit them in their bed in the mornings. And pinching their socks. He's definitely got two new fans.
