Pleasant surprise

I don't usually keep filling the bird feeders this far into the spring, especially after the bear visits of 2 years ago. But I have almost a full bag of seed so decided to use it up. As a reward, I had American Goldfinches at the feeder all day. I was thrilled. Here is a male and female together.
