Autumn Glory

Blip mate and I drove out this morning looking for autumn colour, thinking  the grape vines may be full of colour - but we are a week or so too early for them.

Driving round the country roads we stopped to photograph some trees beside the road then stopped again a little further on by a beautiful garden. From their driveway entrance and peering through the shrubbery we could see glimpses of some fiery trees across a small lake.

I climbed onto some fallen logs to get a little height and just managed to capture part of the trees with their reflections glowing in the lake.
