Mt Wilson

What a stalwart lot we are.....blippers I mean.  What we'll do to get a good shot for the day's journal.  We all set our alarms for 4.30 am or so and in Skater's case 3.00am.  This meant that we could be on the track in time to reach Mt Wilson in time for the sunrise.  What sunrise you might ask, it was pouring with rain.  We all snuggled into "Minimo" (hereon in to be referred to as the "Blipmobile") and waited for daylight...see extra.  

The professionals in the group kept telling me it was just perfect light and the colours were spectacular because it was a white out and raining!!   Never believe a fanatical blipper, that's what I say!!  All in all it was a lot of fun and always great to catch up with this mad bunch who call themselves the Blackheath Blippers.  Isbi, Beckett, Gemaxphoto, Skater,   and Newcastledownunder all made the trek, so you see what I mean!  You'll notice there are some notable absentees this morning and didn't they miss out :-)
