View through a window (Day 347)

The strong, cold wind of yesterday had eased a little bit as I wandered up the hill with the dogs but it was still bitterly cold.
Once all of the troops has breakfasted, and bags were packed we took another drive out and about with Louise and Ei. We headed down the barriers and as far as the viewpoint at St. Olad's Summit. The views were spectacular but it was still very chilly in the wind. It was soon time to head to the airport where we said farewell to our guests. It has been good to have them here.
The dogs were in the car with us, so my beautiful wife and I headed across Tankerness to Rerwick Head. There is some spectacular cliff scenery there, as well as a few buildings left over from the war. I liked the view of the gun emplacement through two windows of another old building.
