Wood Anemone

Today's entry is a photo of a patch of pretty white flowers, identified by the guide on this afternoon's walk as Wood Anemones.

The walk was very nice, even though we had a couple of showers of either rain or hail. Thankfully, none of them lasted very long and eventually we also had some sunshine.

I would like to do the same walk on my own again at some point but it's rather doubtful that I'll be able to find all the paths that we followed again as none of them were marked and it's an area that is unfamiliar to me.
