8 - Just like that!

A wee trip down to Burntie this afternoon, to deliver the birthday presents to No. 1 grandchild. 

Can't help remembering our drive to Edinburgh 8 years ago, to see him for the very first time.  TIME!  will you please slow down - I cannot keep up with you.  Every time I blink, this young man grows another couple of inches, and one day in the not too distant future, he really will be taller than his Daddy.

Today though, he was having a ball with a couple of his besties, and they had all been to an outdoor centre where campfires had been lit, and trees climbed.  My wee grandson - how I love him.
