The Darling Buds of May

The first flowers and buds on our Clematis Montana Rubens.  They must have liked the sunshine we had today.  

As for me then I've missed out on the sun, and been good for nothing all day having woken at 1.30am  and finally retired to bed again at 5.45am for a couple of hours sleep.  Mr T's got the lurgy now ......  say no more;   except we're coughing in unison and the Kleenex manufacturers will be a very happy  lot.
