More Baby Coots....

..... this time at Chasewater Country Park.  These babies were so tiny, I would guess they are not long out of the nest.  Both parents were keeping a very close eye on them, making sure they didn't venture far from the nest.  There were three but one kept well hidden amongst the tree branches.  The water level was really high, and there was a notable absence of Canada Geese.  We wondered whether they had had to find somewhere more suitable to build their nests this year, as all their usual spots are under water.  I have added a couple of swan shots as extras.  The solo one seemed to have hurt her wing.
