Sweet Sherlock's New Resting Place.

There is a heavy sadness here at Big Hill today.   After almost 2 weeks of not eating we finally had to make the dreaded decision - and so this morning we said farewell to our dearest old Sherlock.   He was 16 and had a fabulous live up here on the hill, but there will be such a hole in our lives....he was a strong and wonderful presence.

It's also the day that we are preparing to host the Spring Mediation Retreat....and luckily there is much to do to keep us busy!   We are expecting 15 people here around 5pm.....there's a line in one of Ferron's songs...."Clean your house in troubled times...." and i keep referring to those lyrics.

The extras are of Sherlock.....the one in the water was just taken a couple of weeks ago!
