Pacific Swift

Pacific Swift is the name of this beautiful topsail schooner owned by S.A. L. T. -Sail and Life Training Society, based in Victoria BC. It's a training ship for young people, world wide and for short cruises in the summer. Last year I managed to blip her newer bigger sister ship with sails up here but I think this one is even classier so wanted to blip it too. This one was built for the "86 Expo in Vancouver - she is 81' overall. 111' with spar. If you are interested you can find out more on the S.A.L.T website. I had the camera on the wharf when she went by - hopefully to put her sails up out in the channel...

Spent the morning on trail maintenance with clippers and rake. (Energy back, thank goodness... but did have a little nap later.... :-)) Cool and windy. I'm missing checking in with everyone due to this dumb internet - hope all is well. also have to post these pretty small so not sure if you can make them bigger to see more.....
