Fire and Rain....

This rather fetching chap stands on a plinth near the Grange cricket club. He's really high up, so I apologise for not getting a better angle. (Devoted as I am to Blip, I draw the line at walking around Edinburgh with a ladder under my arm....)

I like dragons. Perhaps it's because I was born in a Chinese Year of the Dragon. (Would you believe me if I said it was 1976? Hmmm....thought not.)

I am also a Leo (birthday a week tomorrow for those of you who were planning to send an expensive gift....) which, if you believe these things, is a fire sign.

So.....

Dragon. Lion. Fire. Scottish.

There was never a hope in hell that I'd turn out to be anything but a cranky, irritable bossy boots. (And self-obsessed.....this was going to be about the sculpture, and ended up as a me, me, me!!)

As Confucious once said, 'She who can't stick to the bleedin' subject, will never reach true Blipenlightenment.'

Or something like that.......
