Olympia

Glorious sun and rich green landscapes, we docked in Katakolon and headed for Olympia, where the original Olympic Games began.

They were a symbol of peace between the Greek city states, in particular Athens and Sparta.

The photo is of the building given as a gift by Philip of Macedonia, father of Alexander the Great.

Now we're heading for Ithaca, of classical fame.
