Auriculae

The plural of auricula I presume.  I never was much good at Latin at school but the little I learnt does help with languages, plants and medicine etc.    The leaves of this plant are supposed to resemble a bear's ears?!

A couple of days ago we had nearly one inch and a quarter's rain.  It fell in less than a hour, the shower was violently heavy, but it did do the garden and fields a lot of good and everything is now bursting with growth (including the weeds!).

Mowed the lawn, and gardening today after the supermarket shop.

I have just noticed I blipped these flowers on 12 May 2012!!!
