The Buddies of BAAAAAA!

Why are the beautiful buddies of BAA baaing? Their mamas are on the other side of the wall getting sheared. The mamas baa, and the babies baa back.

A local treatment center that specializes in adult schizophrenia and mental disorders open their doors once a year. Among the ways they treat their patients include having them work in a nursery, and managing a farm with many animals.

On the open house day, the barn is open, llamas and sheep get sheared, and the nursery sells flowers and vegetables. It's where I usually buy some Spring tomatoes plants (5 today.)

Merrick likes to go see the animals, and they have a face painting table set up, too.

We were supposed to go to a small carnival today, too...but rain and temps in the 40's kept us away.
