Before the STORM...

After yet another record breaking day for heat..........it is extremly windy outside and the skies are getting very dark and grey as a cold front moves in. Tomorrow is forcast to be only 27 degrees. Crops and gardens are suffering terribly from a lack of moisture. For those of us 'rural dwellers' on wells, one can only water the containers and those plants that are withering away in the dry heat of this drought in central North America. Everyone is grateful of the 'burn ban' that is in effect. The grass everywhere is brown and crispy!
This was an interesting catch this evening. A Honeysuckle blooming in the middle of a Annabell Hydrengia. Wonderful combination brought to us by 'Mother Nature'.
