Infra Red Treatment

I've taken a number of monochrome shots of this tree in the foothills of the Lammermuirs before and a few have appeared as blips but today I had me infra-red converted SLR with me so I thought I would see what an infra-red treatment would achieve. I like the added definition in the far off hills and of course the moody sky that infra red offers. The inky black of the tarmac road helps to balance the stark outline of the tree branches.
