Nearly Done

Just got the finish to put on the 'disc'.
It is made from oak with Maltese glass insert held in place with ebony.

Apart from this and making a couple of other things all I have done is catch up on some recorded  TV and have brunch at the garden centre - which had some weird weather ..... while I went to look at plants out the back we were hit by a monsoon style cloud burst - while at the front of the building there was nothing.

the rain 'showers' gave a pretty good Jeaniebow just before I sat down to post my blip (see extra)
