Verbier again

Its time for the Verbier Music Festival again. Idyllic music in the wonderful French-speaking part of the Swiss Alps.

I came on the train from Geneva this time, changing to the rack railway in Martigny and then on to the Post bus for the final climb from Le Chable.

Glorious sunshine all day but as I was sipping a glass of chilled Fendant (the local white wine) the full fury of a Swiss thunderstorm was unleashed.

Back in the hotel, all I have to do is relax and decide which concerts, master classes and rehearsals to go to. And, yes, where to eat......
