Have a Shag - 17th May Backblip

Walked along the beach to Seahouses to catch the ferry to Inner Farne where we spent a happy hour wandering amongst the nesting birds including this Shag.

I've added extras of Puffins, an Arctic Tern, Blackheaded Gulls and a pair of Eider.

If you like birds and you want to see them in the nesting season I can heartily recommend a visit.  It was an amazing few hours at sea and on Inner Farne and fortunately I remembered to take my seasick tablets.

After the trip we had a cup of tea with our friends who had gone on a different tour and then walked back along the coast to our cottage.
