Montserrat

It’s always nice to start a cruise with a sea day, and we nearly managed it – a half day at sea, docking on Barcelona at around 1pm. As we’d been here before, we decided to take a tour a little bit further afield to Montserrat and the Benedictine monastery. It was a nice ride out, around an hour and then we had a couple of hours to look around before the journey back. The guide was really good, telling us all about the monks that live there and the choir and the monastery itself was beautiful.
