Birth of an Oak Tree

A maple tree has seeded my back yard, eaves troughs and
part of my front yard.  Now for a summer of weeding out
baby treelets in all my gardens.

In that vein, this is a soon-to-be oak seedling found on the
forest floor. The acorn had already split and out came a hopeful baby
oak tree.  Its tap root is already burying itself in the
fertility of the rich soil awaiting.  There were many more
oak hatchings here and there.  Nature is never an accident,
but many accidents can happen to nature.  Will this be
a towering oak long after I am gone?
