Hildasay Hooses

It was a cloudy start to the day but the cloud soon moved over and came a lovely sunny and warm day :)

I've been busy working in the museum office all day.  I had an old slide to scan from 1960, showing the queen in a Rolls Royce, and the car returned to Shetland this past weekend :)  I managed to get out of the office at lunchtime and enjoy the sunny day.  After work, I headed out to the Isles with friends peering Brian, big Brian and Madeline, for a barbecue.  Off to work in the pub later.  

We headed out to the Isles for a barbecue this evening and fantastic weather for it.  While the barbecue was heating up, me and Sammy took the chance to walk over the Isle, Sammy was happy as he spotted two rabbits :)  The old houses here were in ruin, as one still is, but the other was renovated and modernised by the late Alastair Goodlad.  Since he passed away, this lovely house has been neglected, hope someone shows it some TLC soon.  Taken on Hidasay Isle.
