Day 2

Today was a day at sea.

Breakfast at the buffet ............. my God - I am likely to come home 3 stone heavier.
Fresh fruit of almost everything known to man - full English (plus half of American) - Continental - cerials of every description, omlets as well as cheeses, cold meats, Danish pastries and doughnuts to name but a few.

The ?Walk A Mile? (7 times round the top deck) is not going to be enough.

A snooze was required in the afternoon to sleep off that breakfast (and a snack at lunchtime.....well - didn?t want to appear greedy).

The sunset was spectacular (despite there being no clouds) and there was nobody on deck watching it..............WHY?

Superb meal with half a dozen crew singing ?Happy Birthday? to SWMBO while presenting a cake to her followed by a great show of song and dance numbers from some of the better known musicals...................again - better than I had expected.

The Captain and officers also stood on stage and introduced themselves and explained their jobs. It is amazing where they are all from..........Scotland, England, Brazil, Phillipines, Poland, Ukraine, Belgium to name but a few.

Tomorrow we are actually let loose on foreign soil.
