A beautiful evening

Through in Elie for a couple of nights ..... the temperature here must be about 10 degrees colder that in Glasgow ..... first time I've needed my fleece on for at least two weeks.  A beautiful evening so L and I cycled down to the Ship Inn for a fish and chip tea (scrummy!), then we had a walk round the harbour.

We spotted a family of eider ducks bobbing among the rocks.  No sign of any males and it would seem that more than one female is responsible for looking after the tiny, fluffy chicks.  I wish they had been just a little nearer.
