View over Glendale...

Our late-afternoon dog walk took us over the heathland area of Wooler Common - pleasantly warm and sunny, and good to be out after a tiring day in the office. Lovely views of Glendale in one direction, and Humbleton Hill in the other. Lots of May (hawthorn) flower in the hedgerows. On the way back to the car, spotted some beautiful little white flowers (Extra) by the roadside - Star of Bethlehem according to our book. Says they're "widely naturalised", but we don't remember seeing them before!
