Pollen sacks and flag iris

Today's the day ....................... to resume normal service

After all my ruminations the other day about how dry it's been here recently and how all the water butts in the garden were empty - today it has absolutely POURED with rain.  So things are back to normal - and we all feel much more comfortable (?!)

Just as well though that I took this cheery yellow picture before the heavens opened ......................
