Tuscan flowers

We had an early start for our walk today, hoping to avoid the rain forecast for later. It was a delightful route through woods, vineyards and open countryside.

We were back in Montalcino for a beer followed by a sunny swim. The rain is now forecast for tomorrow, when we have a 15km walk to our next hotel. It's lively and warm and I'm walking in shorts and sandals.
