Rose

Was a bit grey, damp and miserable looking this morning, so I decided not to cycle to work. I am a fair weather cyclist! At work I managed to get something done - not as much as I would like but better than nothing. After work I went to Waitrose to get a few bits and bobs - not really a lot we did two shops already this week so there wasn't much missing.

On my way from the shop to the station for my trip home I had some spare time, and I spotted this rose peaking out of some corporate planting and it had caught the sun rather well, so I decided to photograph it.

As it happens I didn't have much shopping to do and it would have been a very nice cycle ride home. As I didn't cycle home I couldn't have cheese with my soup for dinner, I've rationed myself to only have cheese on days I actually exercise - walking to and from work doesn't count!
