First of the season

Our first red opium poppy of the year - and it's raining again!  Though only started late afternoon.  Fortunately I'd finished my stint of gardening for the day.  My extras show some of our garden menagerie - the pheasants, who have now taken to begging for food and the three squirrels who are stealing it!
