I headed home in early evening after a full on day - nonstop meetings from 11am till 16.30 with no lunch. We were looking at governance of our joint digital strategy; considering workforce issues and how we manage with our stretched resources to deliver not just the business but also improvements. Then catching up on meetings I should have been at but missed. Then the overview of email traffic.

So it was a moment of peace to see in the Meadows in central Edinburgh the cricket match underway. It is in fact very common to see matches being played out here.
