Fun!

I know some people find clowns scary. This guy was a bit of a terror, teasing the kids and trying to sucker their parents in to buy balloon animals. Usually we become one of those suckers but not today my friend..... we left that duty to Jim, one of the other parents. He really kindly bought them all one, lovely chap :-)

I took almost 300 photos today but feel there was something missing from them. I usually get one or two that I love but this time each one needed a bit of work. Was brilliant day anyway and I have my collection of naff photos to remember it by.

First on the agenda was the Teddy Bears Picnic in Wendover Woods. It was my cousins little boy's 2nd birthday and she kindly invited us and our gang to their family BBQ. Harry is 2 weeks younger than L and I enjoy our get togethers where we can see how they've changed.

When we got back we popped to a local event called "the festival of loveliness". I knew this was something we should be attending just from the title. There was hula-hooping, bands, friends, magicians, a maze & this crazy clown balloon guy. We were so close to getting some beers and setting up for a late one. Our kids got quite friendly with the other people's kids when they met at our wedding and they played beautifully together again today. The sun was shinning and it would have been so easy to relax & unwind for a boozy evening. Decided to be good and get the kids back for bed and another busy day tomorrow. We've really over indulged in the last month so I'm going to convince myself we made the right decision.

In other news, we had a mosquito in the house again tonight. I zapped me on the foot. Interesting huh?
