Kitchen

What a crap, dull photo I hear you say. "He couldn't even be bothered to close the door under the sink".
That is where you were wrong as it was left there deliberately. Until today our second kitchen had no hot water. Now after much labour, .look carefully at the image and you will see a little electric heater under the sink enabling hot water to come pouring out of the tap and, better still, only when expected.
That said Mr Ariston could learn a thing or two from Mr Ikea. The instructions were vague in the extreme. The on-line video made it look very easy. The "feed a wire through the hole from the back" three seconds was particularly instructive as it took me almost an hour of swearing and sweating to achieve it.
Of course I was missing a couple of pieces of plumbing joints and so it had to be joined up in a more complicated fashion that it should and when put under pressure, one of the joints made a temporary shower.
Now, however, all is calm  and for the first time it becomes easy to wash up in this kitchen, something I am sure DS#1 and 2 will appreciate... or perhaps not!
