Do I smell dinner?

This is our neighbours dog from the apartment next door.

The dog is on the roof...three floors up!

Whilst he looks quite safe, one paw over the line and he would fall 40 feet to the ground! Yet he is nimble and quick, hopping over roof tiles to check out the pigeons and sniff out his dinner. And he didn't batt an eyelid when he saw me!

Busy but relaxing day. An early start, enjoyed some English tea (!) before walking to the Summit Hotel to meet the new staff for breakfast. After I had filled my face I left them to their school stuff and walked to the gym to organise my montly membership. I did a little food shopping, buying fruit, veg and rolls from the local shopkeepers and then came back to the apartment to plan my week of training and do my first mobility and stretching session. Paul came home for lunch and then we hit the gym...felt good. Even got my Shuffle on the sound system so we had some tunes...we were the only people in there!

After we had walked home and showered we walked back to the hotel to meet the staff for dinner. The school minibus took us in to Thamel and we munched and drank beer. the staff are really friendly, young and enthusiastic. We had some good conversation and Paul is set for a year with nice colleagues. Home by half nine, quick blip and then bed...we are running in the early hours to kick start our routine!!

By the way...it's hot. And humid. A little rain today which was very welcome. And I sunbathed for twenty minutes and got strap marks!!!
