Rest Day...
I've done very little today!
Putting out the 4 bags of rubbish from the kitchen clear out last night (yep, my cupboards are now BARE!) is all I've done. Still need to clean the oven and microwave and wash the floor. After discovering that I need an overnight wait to use the oven cleaner, these will wait for my return.
So instead, some last minute shopping and the car got cleaned, vacuumed and topped up with fuel. I also put my second bag of change into the Coinstar machine and got another £260 for the holiday fund. Woo Hoo! Came back and cleaned my lenses and checked the charge on the batteries. All that's left to do now is to pack.
I've been loving the Olympics coverage this year during my cleaning breaks. Having the ability to watch any sports live on the cable tv is brilliant! I don't think I've watched one of the broadcast programs at all and been able to watch what I want. Having fenced when I was younger, I've been able to watch some of that, but its the shooting events I really enjoy watching. The archery especially. Today was the start of the Individual men's and women's competition. This is Danish archer Carina Christiansen going through the motions. She made it through the opening rounds and will feature in Thursday's last 16 shoot offs.
I will be back for a couple of hours to catch up on replies and comments - finally - after tea!
Through my quiet time I've only lost one subscriber, so thanks to everyone for sticking with me. I always feel a little sad when I lose a subscriber. It makes me think I've let them down slightly. Anyhoo, such is life.
Chances are I won't be posting again for a week at least but will try a wee catch up next Mon/Tue/Wed during my mid-holiday work break! ;- )
Until then, I hope everyone has a great week. Happy Blipping! :- )
