Happy 4th of July

Lake George NY, looking towards the Sagamore Hotel complex. It was perfect weather for the 4th - hot and sunny and the lake was packed with swimmers and boats racing back and forth .The town was crazy , so we headed to Bolton Landing for a break on our way back from Vermont. I may have to exercise for 8 hours a day 7 days a week to make up for what I ate this weekend. If you are ever in Montpelier Vt the Birchwood Bakery makes the best chocolate chip cookies ever. They qualify as simultaneously heavenly and sinful and I ate an entire cookie on the way home. Walking around Bolton Landing did not work off  500 calories of cookie!
