Pilgrim's Rest

Having  had an enjoyable evening in Graskop we drove to Pilgrim's Rest, an old Gold Mining town which in some ways seems stuck in a time warp. Many of the wonderful old buildings have been preserved. From here we headed off to Johannesburg....arriving late after a horrendous journey filled with stoppages of one sort or another - to a warm welcome from Rose and family.
